Customer Reviews of Modern Chess: Move by Move

Kairav from Coeur d Alene Modern Chess: Move by Move ReviewI purchased this book from Borders book store and truthfully, it is a decent book but there are many better books out there. I don't recommend this book.

Antowine from Grand Rapids Modern Chess: Move by Move ReviewI haven't been through this book all the way but when I have played through the first few games and working through the notes, it is horrible. There are moves within the annotations that are wrong and leaves you guessing to what those moves might be. I have contacted the publisher about if they are going to revise this book to correct the errors in book, they are not going to do so. It is a good book as far as taking you through some really good battles and understanding every stage of the game. I wouldn't recommend getting it because of the errors that it has in it and it is a pain to try to correct the errors that the author has made in the annotations.
