Customer Reviews of The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played 62 Masterpieces of Chess Strategy

Allyn from New Port Richey The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played 62 Masterpieces of Chess Strategy ReviewChernev has done a great service to improving chess players by choosing classic games that illustrate numerous stratigic themes. Study just a dozen these games and your chess understanding and rating will increase. Study more and you will see dramatic improvements. The book has some defects, but these are easily overcome. If this book was rewritten in algebraic notation, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. If the games were organized by theme, then it would be 5 stars. For example games #3 & #16 feature Nd5 outpost. Games #1, 10 & 43 among others- rook endgames. Games #13, 24 & 35 Kingside attack. A great book for chess coaches.
