Customer Reviews of Florentine Series Wood Chess Pieces 4" King - Rosewood
Greg from Little Chute Florentine Series Wood Chess Pieces 4" King - Rosewood ReviewI purchased these pieces as a Thursday chess deal and am very pleased with their quality, heft, and feel. The wood is smoothly polished and attractive. The only small criticism is that the design of the rooks makes them look a bit like small queens without the little ball at the top of the crown. Excellent buy, though.
Paul from Montreal Florentine Series Wood Chess Pieces 4" King - Rosewood ReviewVery nice chess pieces. I like King and Rook. Horse design can be better but in sale at $89 this set is a good deal.
RC from San Antonio Florentine Series Wood Chess Pieces 4" King - Rosewood ReviewOne of the queen's crowns is terribly asymmetrical and simply looks tacky--what happened to quality control? The knights don't look as crisp as in the photo. This is easier to see on the white knights, but for what ever reason, there is a small drill hole in front and behind of the horse's eyes which harms the aesthetics.
Darryl from Spring Valley, CA Florentine Series Wood Chess Pieces 4" King - Rosewood ReviewVery high quality set for the money.
