I had seventeen scouts in our troop sign up for the Chess MB Class, and my local scout shop never has that many merit badge books on-hand (plus, it's a ways to drive there). With this set, I could get everything I need without running all over town. The scouts liked having a choice of colors -- I noted their preference then placed one order for all sets. It was easy to meet the minimum threshold for free shipping, so these are a real bargain ("A Scout is thrifty") and parents appreciate that, too. We launched the merit badge class last night and the boys were very excited to have a real "kit" complete with storage, the MB book, and all the rest. This is by far the most popular merit badge we've ever taught at the troop. I called the folks at wholesalechess to get a sense of delivery times and they were super easy to work with and even have a staff member that is Woodbadge trained (who do you think put these kits together, after all?).
