The exterior zippers on the case are rugged. However, the ones on the interior are rather flimsy. Overall, I am very happy with this chess set. It is a great buy!

The felt bottoms fell off a couple of the pieces after just two games and had to be reattached. Other than that, great set and the bag is a nice extra for storing everything in.

If you get a Dremel with the little cylinder sandpaper, you can grind the weights flush, then use some epoxy paste to smooth out the bottoms, then glue on some thick green felt, and you will have some nice chessmen. The thin vinyl roll up boards are great, and the mouse pad board is great. Use the bag as target practice, the materiel is paper thin on the inside, ant the loops that hold the board just disintegrate. The whole experience with this chess set required sanding and frustration.

My biggest gripe besides the flimsy bag was the "triple weighted" pieces. The pieces are not triple weighted throughout, and are really just "bottom heavy." The weighted plastic feel is not the best combination for an "executive" set.

After playing on mine, two other members each ordered the same set (with different colored boards). The pieces are easy to play with, have a great feel to them, and travel well. One of the sets was purchased for a handicapped player who has limited use of his hands, and required a set that was easy to hold, had enough weight to avoid being knocked over, but not so much that he couldn't lift them. I recommend this set to anyone who wants a good traveling chess combo.

On several of the pieces it was already coming off. It seemed to restick okay, we'll see how long it lasts. Other than that, the pieces are awesome. Very nice feel to them, the board is great, and the bag is perfect. I will echo what other reviews have said about the zippers on the pockets seeming cheap, but they work just fine.

The carryall chess bag is perfect to hold the roll up board, pieces and chess clock (not included). The students were able to pick their favorite color board and bag. The boards are great and lays flat. They can be cleaned with little effort. This is a great choice for any Chess team or club. This is an excellent Tournament Chess Set.

The pieces are nicely weighted plastic for the money, also. However, if you have the money I'd recommend Super Staunton or Marshall sets. They have crisper sculpts and are heavier weighted. They're worth the few extra $$. Still, you can't go wrong for this price on this set.
