The bag is very nice, all surfaces are padded, including the compartment for the clock. You won't find a better set for the money. It's probably a bit too nice for young players ten and under.. wholesale chess has other inexpensive sets for that purpose... but it's ideal for regular club players. Of course, you could put together a more expensive set... but this is definitely a serious club set which is meant to be played.

The bag has a pocket that I store my clock in, and other pockets to hold notes or games or whatever you need. I take it with me everywhere I go, and despite a few loose threads that I've pulled out of the bag, I give it five stars.
