However, the corduroy material is thick, soft and rugged. The bottom stiffener and the quality string closure are convenient features that work well. The color is great and does not easily soil. This bag nicely holds my large 4 1/4" Premier set, even with the extra queens. A terrific bag... particularly for larger sets.

I purchased a few to use them to protect the some of the colored sets I bought in bulk. Very nice. Makes a gift set even nicer by adding a touch of flair. I gave a few sets out to my co-workers and they seemed to enjoy them. People love free stuff ya know, and rather than hand them a chess set in stark ugly see-thru plastic bags these bags make the gift a little more special. It says " Hey. This set is worth protecting "

I liked it so well that I ordered a couple more. It adds a bit of class to my gift sets that I give to my friends. Its Not cool not to have a decent bag to go along with a set. Get one and I bet you like it too.
